Relaxed and Ready? Yes, You Can.

A Low-Stress Way to Use Summer Strategically

It’s summer. You’ve wrapped finals, and the last thing you want is another to-do list.

But here’s the thing: Fall recruiting comes fast. And students who make just a few intentional moves now? They walk into September way ahead of the curve — calmer, more confident, and ready to stand out.

I’ve coached students who used just a few hours in June to polish their resume, build one or two connections, and clarify their internship goals — and those small steps created big results in the fall.

“I felt behind in May, but GradLanding’s coaching helped me organize my branding and networking goals and feel way more prepared for fall.” — Janelle, Rising Junior

You don’t need to overhaul your summer. You just need a reset plan.

Quick Wins: The 2-Hour Reset Plan

If you’ve got even two hours to spare this week, here’s how to use them:

Update your resume — Add recent experience and quantify 1–2 bullet points
Refresh your LinkedIn — Update your Banner, Headline and About section
Identify 3 target employers — Look at their job postings from last year and note what skills they prioritize
Send 1 message to a professional — A quick “Hi, I’m exploring careers in X. Can I ask a few questions?” goes a long way
Review your fall calendar — Career fairs often start early. Find out when yours is

Your Move This Week:

✔ Choose one action from the Reset Plan and complete it by Sunday.
Then send me a message or tag @GradLanding on LinkedIn — I’d love to cheer you on.
