The Story Behind GradLanding
Built by a former Fortune 500 global recruiting leader. Designed to help students and recent grads launch careers with clarity, confidence, and real support.
Why GradLanding Exists
Students and parents are navigating a job market that has changed faster than most people realize. Internships are more competitive. Entry-level roles are fewer. AI has reshaped what employers expect. Traditional career services are stretched thin. Parents often feel unsure how to help without stepping in too much.
GradLanding was created to fill that gap.
We guide students through a structured, supportive process that builds clarity, confidence, and real momentum. Our mission is simple: help young people launch careers they are proud of, and give families peace of mind along the way.
Who We Work With
GradLanding focuses on:
College students from first year through senior year who want internships or first roles that fit who they are.
Recent graduates in their first few years out who feel stuck, underemployed, or unsure how to move forward.
Parents who want to support their student’s launch without nagging, micromanaging, or guessing what helps.
Meet Christine Rigby-Hall
Christine brings more than 20 years of recruiting and talent leadership across global organizations. She has led talent acquisition for companies such as Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse, Moody’s, KPMG, LexisNexis, and CB Richard Ellis. This experience gives her a clear understanding of what employers look for when hiring early talent.
Her background includes:
• Coaching Certification, Columbia University
• MS in Counseling, Springfield College
• Experience building MBA recruiting programs and onboarding systems
• Coaching students into roles across finance, consulting, tech, engineering, computer science, marketing, and more
After years of watching talented students struggle to translate their potential into offers, and seeing how overwhelmed parents felt on the sidelines, Christine decided to build a more focused, personal solution.
She founded GradLanding to bring corporate-level recruiting expertise directly to students and recent grads at a critical moment. Her coaching blends clear structure, honest feedback, and steady support.
We use a four-phase coaching framework that takes students from uncertainty to offers:
Every student receives personalized guidance, real-time feedback, and a clear structure for taking action. Parents receive transparency and reassurance that their student is progressing.
We believe in individualized coaching, accountability, and practical steps that work in today’s job market.
Students leave coaching with sharper stories, stronger resumes and LinkedIn profiles, and a clear strategy for internships or full time roles. Many move from “I have no idea where to start” to targeted outreach, interviewing, and offers.
Coaching is delivered virtually, so students work with GradLanding from campus, home, or a first job in another city. Sessions are one to one.
Our Approach
Parents often carry the stress while their student feels overwhelmed or avoids the topic altogether. GradLanding keeps the student in the driver’s seat while giving parents clarity on progress.
• Students own the work and the decisions
• Parents receive clear expectations, periodic updates, and guidance on how to support without taking over
• Everyone works from the same plan, which reduces conflict at home and keeps momentum going
